Well as you know I set a goal for my 96 Eclipse spyder gs of a easily driven 300whp Daily. So I am not all talk I picked up my power plant today. From a 95 GST that was recently wrecked. The only damage to the motor was the radiator pushed up against the turbo and bent the bar to the waste gate. Also when removing the motor they managed to break the nipple off the turbo.

Do you currently have a 4g64 or 420a motor?
It's funny the t25 kinda looks big in the first pic:D

Well I got it back from the machinist today. The block was true all the way so i didn't get the surfaces machined. I had it bored .010 over due to uneven cylinder wear. I also had the Crank checked and it was good. The head was true but i still had it resurfaced because of it being aluminum.

Before you ask I was looking at some different sited and seen on DSM Grave Yard they have the Frankenstein motor and really liked it so that is why it is GREEN! If you think it is rice I am sorry I hurt your feelings just go tell someone else about it because I dont care.

I decided to get a new(used) oil pan and the balance shaft eliminator so i have to wait untill they get here to put it back together.

That is an incredibly bright green. I kinda like it though.

block looks nice its your car so do what you want sounds like it will be a fun ride when your done IMO you should go ahead and add the roll bar

I would definitely do the roll bar while you are at it. Safety is priceless.

I would not do a custom order piston, maybe I'm wrong but you will be dropping more bank with a custom piston. Just go .020 over and save yourself some $$$. Good luck with the build!
