I'm looking to upgrade to the 14b Turbo. I currently have the stock t25- I have a pacesetter exhaust manifold installed. Coil on plug, full 3 inch exhaust except for the o2 bung. I also have an safc 2 not installed yet and a wideband o2. Is the rest of the supporting mods I need a walbro 190, fmic, 750cc injectors? Will the Turbo bolt right up to my wastegate and everything or do I need a néed a new one? Also what's a cheap way to log? I'm not sure if torque will work but I have it for my Motorola droid. Any great information would be great. I'm currently in the process of doing the body work to paint it a chameleon color. Gold,green,blue,violet.

For the turbo, The 14b will require a J pipe which can be bought from one of the venders or the classifieds. I am assuming you are using stock waste gates on these turbos? If that is the case then the 14b will come with a different internal one. Also, I would look at getting dsmlink as it seems to be the #1 tuning software.

Yes my Turbo and intercooler are completely stock. I just swapped the exhaust manifold due to a crack. I do have a decent amount of mechanic knowledge just not too much for turbos.

If I were to use an external wasregate omstead what are the pros and cons and would it require alot of modifications?

Wait....you swapped TO the Pacesetter, or FROM the Pacesetter due to a crack?

If you swapped TO the Pacesetter, I suggest having a backup plan.

Also search "16g 2g install" t-25 is not a MHI turbo and has different requires lines for oil and coolant. 14b should come with a stock MHI style wastegate attached.

Try to buy a 14b with the internal wastegate included. Your t25 wastegate will not fit. You do have the option of using an external wastegate but it will be rather costly.

Just a heads up, the biggest injector size you can compensate for with SAFC is 660cc.

Yes, you'll be fine with 660's with a 14b and stock ic. I ran 550's with my evo 3 16g and did fine for my 300 hp goal.
