*old tuners needed!!* aem rods?

Hey guys i ran across a set of what is suppose to be AEM Hyper Connecting Rods ? does anyone know about these? if you can let me know abit as i cant find much info about them

You have two of the same thread an hour apart.. Did you use google? Looks like they are from the 90s made by 'Saenz'. I wouldn't trust a 15 year old rod in my motor. How did you come across these?

No telling how old these are.

Well, Saenz still makes rods. These "AEM Hyper Connecting Rods" are old. I can't find anything about these rods for our motors. Lots of old talk about them on the honda forums.

Hope that was a joke. I'm still using 6bolt rods. Going on 20+years haha.

I have the above set that I cannot identify. They look like offers of Saenz rods on eBay, but one can never be sure with pictures on eBay as they often do not represent the actual items...

I wasn't aware of any changes made to these rods, but that might be the answer to the mistery. The seller seemed convinced they were Manley rods.

I've had both Manley and Eagle in the past few years and the Eagles are different than ## pic. The small end is thicker and the rod itself is thicker as well. Probably by 1/8-3/16." The reason I know the size difference is cause I have one eagle and 3 Manley in my motor right now. I was definitley leery of running it like that, but they are the same gram weight.
