i have a 1000dollars to spend, i would like to use it to upgrade the the perfomance of my car, im coming from stock. i would like know how much hp i would be gaining with these mods. lets go!!!

Follow the tuning guide for the most part. Nobody can guess what HP you will make, nor do we want to.

Wrong forum to ask that question...

What are you hoping to gain from your car? As in what numbers do you want to run? To sit there and say "I want to upgrade my car" how do we know that your definition of an upgrade doesn't inclue mounting a park bench in place of your spoiler?

heres what i would do if I was in youre shoes right now, and had a grand to blow on the car.
-$100- $150 to get it decent stock shape, new plugs, wires, gear oils, and a fuel filter.
-$75 for a boost gauge
-$200 for a used 14b from a 1st gen and the install kit or make youre own...
-$400?? decent turbo back exhuast 2.5" will be sufficent 3" if youre plans involve 12 sec slips... the price really depends what you find and where you find it, I got my entire turbo back with straight pipe for 175 bucks... so shop around
- $150 - 1g bov used, and a decent upper intercooler pipe...
- $50 - nice manual boost controller...
with that setup you could see 13's quite easily.

If you really REALLY care about performance you could sell that nice car you have, buy a 1G GSX/TSi AWD from '90 to '92.5, then use the extra couple thousand you now have from the 2G to get your car well into the 12s. Just kidding. Another good upgrade sequence is this one. They're both great modding guides, and work wonderfully when followed step by step.

Definatley agree get a clutch that will hold and not slip on ya along with a slave/master cylinder replacement.

With the rest of the money I would purchase a Boost/Vac and EGT gauge just so you can monitor what's going on with the purchase of a Manual Boost Controller. Then see if you can find a nice Crushed 1G BOV, then some suspension work, shifter bushings. Find a decent shape 14B ($120-160) and do some exhaust work...in all honesty do all the small things to work your way up to big. This way you can save yourself a headache so you don't have to nickel and dime yourself to death later when you want to slap on a larger turbo or mods that will need little things to support them.
