Are the 2g turbo ecus under the hood.I just pulled my engine and didn't even notice it .
Or is it under the dash?

Pull the driver and passenger side kick panels as it's screwed in near the stereo. Some of those bolts are a pain so when putting it back in you can use one or two bolts.

Have fun,

Andy

Crap I thought chilton shows it under dash in the 95 to 98s or something..by the stereo in the non turbo cars and right behind the stereo of course in 1gs.
I was hoping it was just under the hood.

I've had my ECU out 50 times to change chips. For the first time, remove both panels and when re-installing the ECU, only use one bolt on the driver's side so that you only need to remove one kick panel in the future.

I can do it my sleep by now.
