oil turns red??

Hey all. Another problem i have to tackle. Swear there's little gremlins living in my motor. Anyway after say about 300 miles after an oil change the oil seems diluted and is a red color. And usualy have to add a quart after about 800 miles. Would a leaky injector cause the oil to turn red? Also i noticed it right after a fuel.filter change. Before the filter change the oil was always clean looking.

Wally pump, new 450cc, new fpr, put some new oil in her and guess what....?? Still is red. Its a clear/red color. Don't know why now, mabey bad rings?

What kind of oil was used? Royal purple is purple in color, maybe it appears somewhat red after a while...I use it but havnt payed too much attention to color after oil change, hard to tell when it's in a dark oil pan...

I have personally seen "tired" royal purple...its not red...its still more purple than anything to my eyeballs. One question....why is dex cool being mentioned? As far as I know, dexcool coolant is for GM's and GM's only.

i use Valvoline VR1 full synthetic. It is a clear blue color when new and clean. after running it for awhile it stated to turn a golden brown color. I'm a noob but maybe the brand of oil he uses turns reddish in color instead of brown.
