so i pulled my 7bolt from my car and starting to build the 6bolt. ran into a few problems with the oil pump and water pipe. the water pipe that came with my car im not even sure if its the right one but it has a u shaped pipe coming out and the exhaust wont even bolt on as shown here.

now for the oil pump i took the oil line for the turbo off my 2g and bolted it up to the 6bolt but the fitting is to big to screw into the oil pump. i was wonder if its possible to use the oil pump off my 7bolt on the 6bolt. or do i have to get a diff line.

and im gonna try to use the 6bolt intake manifold. i tried taking the throttle body elbow off my 7bolt and putting it on the 6bolt intake, but the bolts on the 6bolt are way too long and it doesnt bolt up. would it just be easier to use the 7bolt intake? unless u gain some crazy power from the 6bolt intake i would ###### use it.

the 6bolt intake is on the right and the 7bolt is on the left, the bolt that the nut goes on the 1g intake has way longer bolts and it doesnt work, am i missing something?

Ok, The U-pipe is the turbo water return line (14b,16g 20g). If you plan to use the t-28 you will need to carefully remove the U-line or water return line and install a plug.

For the feed off of the OIL FILTER BRACKET, you will need to order one from Road Race engineering 562-777-1522(If you plan on running a T-25 or T-28.

For the Intake manifold: Use the 1G intake Manifold. The studs may seem too long but bolt every thing up and it should be fine. It just looks that way some times. If you need to add an extra washer or get a tap and die set and thread them in a little deeper.

Edit: One more thing to make your life a little easier in the future would be to put all studs instead of bolts for the throttle body(what mounts it to the intake manifold).

If you're using a 2G head, use the 2g intake manifold. As for TB studs, remove them and pick up correct length bolts from Home Depot.

im using 6bolt head and block. i took care of the throttle body elbow. if anyone could show me what i need to buy for the oil line to the turbo that would be awesome i couldnt find anything. im using the stock turbo off my 2g. its a t25 i think.

You will most likely need to call road race engineering to get the right line. Its specially made for the t-25/28 turbo. It cost like $70.00. The t-25/28 turbos are different from other 14b,16g,20g turbos when it comes to the oil feed fitting. The 14b,16g,20g turbos use a banjo bolt to attach the oil feed line to the turbo, but the T25/28s use a flared tube and threaded nut . Road race eng. is the only place that sells those that I know of. It comes with every thing you need to hook it up.
