Hey guys I'm installing an AEM Oil Pressure gauge with the STM oil pressure OFH install kit and I want to verify where to tap for the oil pressure line.

The kit uses a 3/8" fitting which looks to replace one of the plugs on the oil filter housing. I see two possible locations for install but I'm not sure if one is better than the other?

The spot I was planning to use is where the plug is directly under the stock oil pressure sending unit is located ("Pressure Tap 1" in the photo below). The alternative spot would be right next to the oil filter housing where the oil pressure idiot light and my turbo oil feed line is ("Pressure Tap 2" in the photo below). Would either location work? I prefer to use the location under the stock oil pressure sending unit as it's easier to reach. Thanks!

Pressure Tap 1 and 2 are both in the same gallery as the pressure sender. The difference is obviously that pressure tap 1 is closer to the OEM pressure sender and thus the oil pump than pressure tap 2. Either will work, though, as it is literally a straight shot from tap 1 to tap 2.
