2G Oil pressure switch

Alright guys, I was driving to drop my car off to get my windows tinted, and while I was driving I heard a sound that appeared as if something was dragging. Thougt it may have been snow breaking up. I get almost to my exit and and my gauge reads no oil pressure. Assuming the worst, I pull into a gas station to check it out.

I wasn't losing oil or anything. But, what had appeared to have happened was the wire on the oil pressure switch had cam off and broke or something to that affect. I still have a clip/pigtail visible. But there is supposed to be something to the cylindrical switch correct? And whatever it is controls my gauge. Could somebody post a picture of what theirs looks like exactly ( switch and wire to to it) so I can see precisely how it is supposed to be like?

After I get a picture, it'll be easier to explain what is and isn't there. Thanks in advance

The first one sir. I am looking for what connects to the switch, as far as what it looks like. I have a pigtail that is right there, but it is missing something that clips to it that would then go to the switch.

It's just a little slide on clip that doesn't really stay on too tight. A real cheap "ghetto" fix is to just wrap the wire around the top post as that's the signal.

Thanks Scott. Exactly what I was looking for. The part I seem to not have is the black section. Do you still suggest the wire wrap?

It will work just fine to be honest. I can try to look through some of my excess connectors Saturday and see if I have that piece or not.
