Ok, I've searched for days and I've run out of options. Does anybody have a part number for the Dual pressure switch that's located on the A/C Receiver Drier. I've searched all over this site, all over the internet and even tried 3 dealers. Two of them were too ignorant to help and the third gave me a completely wrong number, it was a Mopar part number if that tells you anything. Oh and just to cover the bases I now have a 97 TSI AWD. If this is in the wrong forum sorry and feel free to move, Thanks.

Looking in the Mitsubishi ASA database it only shows the dryer coming with the switch together as part #MR270457. Since yours is a Chrysler Talon it might be different but I doubt it since it still is a DSM which tend to share parts across platforms. So the MOPAR number may be correct and you can only get the switch with the dryer. Still I may be wrong....just my $0.02.

Yes, that's what I've been finding, problem is that any aftermarket drier does not come with the switch. As far as the Mopar number I received it was completely wrong, I looked it up and the connector was completely wrong and it's application wasn't for any sort of DSM.

If you don't care about retaining the factory wiring, you could use just about any aftermarket $10 AC pressure switch on eBay. I redid my whole front end AC system to make room for the FMIC and allow more airflow to the radiator. Got an aftermarket dryer, and ordered a switch that would fit it. Turns out the OEM switch fit (same threads). I only used it to keep the oem connector. (I "tucked an AC line on the passenger side, so that switch/mess all had to go.

If you want to keep OEM, I bet miller Import parts or any other junkyard would have it.
