I've got a JDM 6 bolt in my 90 TSi AWD. I swapped it in there a while after my stock motor bit the bullet, swallowed it, and died.

Ever since the swap my oil pressure guage hasn't worked. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be? I'm tired of hoping my pressure is normal, and I'd like, for a change, to really know how she's doing.

I'll see if I can get pictures or something soon.

Did your JDM motor have a sending unit for the gauge on the oil filter housing? The JDM I bought only had the idiot light sending unit, not one for the gauge. It didn't have a port for the one on my stock motor to swap over either.
