Does anyone know if the Glow Shift oil filter sandwitch adapter will work with an autometer oil pressure sending unit? otherwise what would be the best way to run the Autometer other the the head?

I know people that do but some of them like it and others don't. The ones that don't say that it may leak a lil. So instaed of using a sandwich adapter they use a T. Just look for your oem oil pressure sender and remove it place a T and add both your aem and oem sending units and your good. Best bet they say is use thread lock so you won't have any leaks. <--- This is what i've heard. I myself have a T fitting you can purchase fom Glowshift or ipt tranmissions. Hope this may help :thumb:

its a bad idea unless you have a downward facing oil housing ... the stock one faces the downpipe and with the extension your filter can actaully touch your downpipe .. which wouldnt be good .. i opted not to get it

I have the sandwich adaptor on my 420a with an Autometer temp sender installed into it. Works great, just be sure to use teflon tape or paste on the threads of the sender when installing.

If you go the "T" route (which I did for my oil pressure on my 420a), find the stock oil pressure sender location (on the back of the block for 420a guys) and go off of that port. You'll see it on the left side of my picture. I used a brass T (wth 1 male, 2 female ports) and a 45* brass fitting. I put the factory sender straight out and put the autometer one on the side with the 45* fitting. Be extra careful with the OEM sender as installing them with the wrong tool can break them easily. And again, be sure to use teflon on these connections as well
