Hey guys quick question. I have a couple gauges, An Aem Wideband, and a digital boost gauge and oil pressure and oil temperature gauge from Glowshift. Now I have a weird problem. I searched this but haven't come across it. I isntalled all the gagues and they work fine except for the oil pressure. It reads the oil pressure perfectly but it does not light up (making it very difficult to see obviously :).) Now all the other ones light up and they are all connected the same way. I am going through all the wires tonight after work but I was wondering if anyone had this problem before? I wonder if the backlight on the gauge is just garbage? Thanks for any help.

Does the gauge have separate wires for power to light up? I had the same issue with Autometer Cobalt narrow band A/F gauge. Turns out the one I got is their newest batch, which is designed to NOT light up around the gauge like all the other ones in the series-a nice blue glow.

Had to send it back to Autometer and they gave me a brand new A/F from their older batch.

Maybe it's possible that the backlight bulb in the gauge is blown.

Yea I talked to glowshift and they said to make sure all the wires are hooked up because there should be 2 sets of positive and negative coming out of the back of the gauge. I am going to check as soon as I get out of work in about an hour. If not I am under warranty and they will have to replace it :nono:.

I had a similar problem with that gauge from glowshift. What hapened with me though which was dumb on my part when i installed the gauge in the gauge pod i twisted the gauge to make it straight but little did i know i was twisting the face and the gauge was still in the same position so the button messed up. I don't know if you did the same mistake as me though. After that the button wasn't working correctly until i twisted the face back.

I just double checked the wiring and one of the ground wires were off. I installed it and it still did not light up. I guess the back light is broken. Glowshift will be getting a call from me early tomorrow.
