Signal works but does not illuminate when parking lights on?!? Total mitsu BS

yeah if anybody has had this problem, please fill me in...

this is a 97 spyder eclipse

My driverside Parking light does not illuminate when the parking lights are on... but the light works when the signal is engaged. It is only the driverside parkinglight in the actual headlight housing. I would really appreciate any help on this...

also i did a search... there was a thread on this but no response... so maybe a common problem?

Seems like no big deal but looks like I dont give a damn about my burnt out light and I like to pay attention to detail.. and i was kidding about the "typical mitsu bullish"

I'm gonna take the easy possiblity. I believe those bulbs are 2 filament. Change the bulb and hopefully that will do it.

Does the turn signal indicator on the dash blink fast - if so - blown bulb.

Also, check the wires to the bulb. They should be pretty easy to get to and if someone did a light mod they may have left the wires exposed.

You know, I feel really dumb right now after you said that because I completey looked past the 2 filament bulbs... I believe you are right about that... I just figured my blinker wasnt hyperly <sp?> flashing so I didnt have a problem with the bulb also considering it still worked when the signal stalk or Emergency flashers were engaged.... Thanks for the info though.. that may be all I needed
