oil presser gauge question

ok I bought an autometer oil presser gauge and the treads on the sending unit are standard and of course the treads on are cars are metric. So what do I do to hook it up right

Is your unit electronic or mechanical?
The fitting I quoted for you is for a mechanical gauge.
I think the fitting will work for either type of gauge though.
The threads on the compression fittings are 1/8" NPT.
The threads on the oil filter bracket are 1/8" BSPT.

Alright, the fitting will work for your autometer sending unit.
Summit sells that fitting.
Don't forget to use Teflon tape at both joints.
If you want to retain the function of your factory gauge, then you'll have to
get clever and use a tee.
Keep in mind that the factory sending unit has this 1/8" BSPT thread that sucks.

I prefer Permatex #2 over Teflon, but a whole lot of the world does fine with that new-fangled Teflon (crap).
