oil line filter

so what exactly is the point of putting a filter inbetween the head and the turbo(line that goes from the head to the turbo)? and when exactly would you need one? ive never understood this thought?

Ive heard of people posting of contaminated oil theory like the oil from the head is dirtier than the oil from the OFH... doesnt make much sense to me either I believe alot of people do it for oil flow restriction.

but why would you want to restrict the oil? i always thought that kind of thing was bad.
