ok well...i was in the process of changin the turbo on my 96 gst and well the only thing holding me back is the oil line coming from near the oil filter won't come loose. i tried getting it off in both spots (near the filter and in front of the block) neither will come loose at all...the one in front of the block is now almost stripped all the way...does the big side of that nut spin too or is it just the small one??? the bolt that goes in at the oil filter isn't stripped but i can't get it out...i tried pb blaster lube and soaked it in it and let it sit for a bit...and nothing....i would be done if it wasn't for rusted bolts...any suggestions anyone??? i have no idea what to do

A flare nut wrench set and some heat might help. Go to your local automotive store and get a set .....it keeps the nut from stripping. The first time a mechanic took my turbo off he had to cut the oil off the car cause it was seized so bad.

even if we cut it...how can you get the bolts out...cuz then all you'd have is a cut line because i thought about doin that...now that, that one is basically stripped...anyone think of a way to get it out????

i could careless about the line...if i can get it off any way...i'll just buy a new line...but i can't get it out
