I've looked around and read the other posts about this but I still can't find anything out. I can't build boost it won't leave the vac side of my gauge. Doubled checked the line to make sure it was installed right still nothing. now I pulled the piping of the air intake and bov and found a thin layer of oil in the bov an at the bottom of the air intake hose. The turbo was rebuilt before put in and I got 17 miles on it before my tranny went out. So the car sat all winter. I started it up and now I lost the boost and found this small amount of oil. when I started I found a small amount of white smoke coming of the turbo itself but now there isn't any smoke coming off of it anymore. I'm really confused there is no catch can and the engine is completely rebuild with stock internals.:cry::cry:

Start the car and look to see if it's spining, when i blew apart my 14b everything looked and felt normal but i had no boost...turns out the exhaust side compresser wheel broke off and was in my downpipe.

I'll do it tomorrow the cars at my barn

any way to fix it if it has locked up on the exhaust side, or will I have to buy a new one?

A thin layer of oil is perfectly normal, especially since you are not using any type of catch can. Also, did you happen to disconnect the wastegate arm, and forget to reconnect it? If not, check it anyways.

no I checked the cotter pin it's still connected and doesn't move when I pull on it. It's rusted to hell and back tho

Also make sure it isn't stuck open.
