ok last night i was driving and i smelled oil so i pulled over and there was oil on the bottom of the car near the wastegate exhaust, no smoke from the exhaust or anything like that, where is it coming from the oil line for the turbo is brand new....do you think it is coming out of the wastegate exhuast? if so why? i am running a cyclone 4g63 evo 3 16g greddy profec b spec 2 on 21.5 lbs all jdm internals, evo fuel rail aeromotive fpr, stock injectors, frount mount, any advice guys i am supposed to be going the track in 2 hours so................

Sounds stupid i'm sure but if the oil line is brand new i would check that first. Check the torque on both ends and make sure it did not get over tightened and crack the housing. Also check the crimps on both ends. Shy of that, clean up all around the area and start car and let it idle and check for the leak.

its not leaking at idle only under boost, i turned it down to19-29 and its better, i am thinking its the oil line.....

It's a sealant, there are different kinds, I suppose its for where the hose connects to prevent leaking, but chime in here if I am wrong seeing as I am just speculating.

If you go to any auto parts store and tell them you need copper based high temp RTV they will get you what you need. It is a form of silicone that acts as a near liquid gasket and will form a very strong seal for your oil leak. Hope this helps.

ok i am on my way to the shop to have it put on the lift ill let you guys know what it is in alittle while

ok.........the oil filter was damn near all the way off and i have broken yet another oil return line.........i am keeping slowboy in business with these oil return lines, i ordered the stainless flex one though......

i was told it was from the "flex" of the motor and the hard line, the flex line should be ok...i have a jdm 4g63, ebay evo 3, tubular manifold, evo fuel rail, blue top injectors, walbro 255, custom fmic, greddy profec b spec2 on 20-23 psi, or 10-13psi, car hauls ass but is eating these oil return lines...i am hopeing the flex one fixes this prob, also i run all royal purple fluids...ALL
