Well I have found a oil leak, so the location is not my question, it is coming out of a what looks like a bolt hole on my exhaust manifold, also the oil isn’t flowing out, it is more of gurgling out making bubbling noises, my question is this normal where I just need to replace the bolt, or is this just a hint at a more serious problem? It’s a 93 Talon, with a 16G and a 2nd gen manifold.

Friend of mine had same problem after a tuner shop (will remain nameless) put a 2G manifold on his 1G. Seemed that they did drill and re-tap the bolt hole which we suspect was why it went into the oil passageway. He tried using JB-weld and a new bolt but it only worked for a week before the heat made it open up again.

Well, the previous owner put on the manifold so that could explain it, now my question is is it ok for me just to put a new bolt in? Or do i have to start replacing things, I’m really not made of money so if you know of a cheap fix please let me know.
