Hey everyone. I'm not new to the 4g63 community but I'm kidding running into a problem. There is an oil leak near the fuel rail but no new oil line where added or moded. It's seems as though it has a good amount of pressure behind it since oil can reach the top of the valve cover. Oil levels haven't changed that much really and it is able to smell the oil under high rpm. I anyone can help that would be awesome. Thanks

I've replaced my valve cover gasket recently but I'll try a new cap too. Thanks

Did you grey RTV it? Here's how to do it properly to ensure no leaks:

I just did this a bit ago and not one drop of oil from it. Biggest thing is make sure all mating surfaces are absolutely cleaned as much as possible and all previous RTV is cleaned off. And make sure everything is dry when you put it together. DO NOT get any brakleen or acetone or other cleaners on the rubber parts. Keep them very separate.

Awesome video thanks. I've been looking to get a my valve cover finished too. I'll Probly do both at the same time

Sounds like a plan. Check out his other videos too they've always helped me. They are very in depth and he'll even put the torque specs in there and other settings for each car (1g auto/manual, 2g n/t, etc.) They help you get very comfortable with a job by watching them a few times. Then once you can do it in your head, Go for it!
