I bought a rebuilt engine from a company because I was short on time (would've rebuilt it myself if I was in such a hurry) and we got it all connected and everything but there's a major oil leak. Now this is all covered under warranty, but they're asking for estimate for repairs but I have no idea what's wrong with it. And I've contacted them with no response. If it's something minor (>$150) I'll just get it fixed and say #### the warranty. So hopefully one of you guys may know what's wrong. I tried to take the best pictures I could.

I have never worked on a na engine so I am no expert. But from your picture it looks like the oil is coming from under the front plastic cover. This may be the front main seal.

Hard to tell from the pic, need to trace the leak from either under that plastic cover or if its further up the engine. Take it to a dealer, have them search and fix the problem, and mail them the bill if it has a warranty.

The only way to see what's going on is, to remove the front cover and see where the leak is coming from, that's your best bet.

Once you see where the leak is coming from, then you can decide, if you want to get a new engine or fix it, If the engine has good compression and sounds good, I wouldn't replace it, I just rather fix it.
