Oil Leak, Broken Electrical Tab Thing

So i noticed my car is leaking oil, its a steady drip coming from the pump (?) so when i was investigating it this electrical tab thing also snapped off, i think it was barely on there caz i barely even touched it. Heres a picture

The yellow thing broke off and the oil is leaking from the red circle.

few questions i have
1. what is the electrical thing
2. you think if i pull that weird fitting off and maybe change a o ring itll stop leaking? or how would i go bout fixing this.

Personally, I'd look somewhere where I could get everything I needed in one spot. JNZtuning will list everything in their OEM parts catalog (having the part numbers makes it very easy) or ExtremePSI should be able to get everything you're after if you get a hold of them with the part numbers. From the looks of it, you need the following:

MD199775 - 7-bolt turbo oil filter housing (aka bracket)
MD185528 - 7-bolt oil filter housing (bracket) gasket
MD620908 - Engine oil cooler o-ring
MD014929 - Cylinder head plug, 1/8"

A quick comparison of the expensive item, the oil filter housing is cheaper at ExtremePSI than DSMGraveyard. The options are yours to consider.

It's cracked because you or someone over tightened it. I believe it is not supposed to be tightened flush but rather to a torque spec.
