ok first im going to start with my oil leak.. it is leaking out of the VC nipples that are used for the PCV valves, i have tool the hose from the intake mani to the pcv valve off and caped the intake mani nozzle! Put a filter on the two nozzles on the valve cover and both are leaking massive amount of oil!
I did a compression test and all passed 165-165-160-150!
now i did two compression tests and the second test i did i noticed there was oil on the threads of the spark plugs! Now could this be a bad head gasket??
The motors only has 2000 miles on it since my rebuild!

I also have a boost leak, One is while my car is on and idling air comes out of those filters on my valve cover!... again bad head gasket??

Second boost leak i have is my BOV.. at idle it is cracked open, when cars off it shuts!! And under boost its wide open... i just replaced my old BOV because it was stuck open, and this one was holding strong till the hose from the intake mani to the bov came off!! ever sinces its say stays open during idle!!
WHAT Could be causin this???

PLEASE HELP me.
I need as much helpful advice as possible!
this is my dd and i keep running into problem after problem!!

thanks!

At idle your BOV should be open. The BOV runs off of vacuum. Your car at idle is in vacuum. This will cause the BOV valve to be sucked open. It's not open completely most likely because your spring rate is set stiff.
But when the car is making boost the BOV should not be open. For your car to make boost the BOV can not be open. All the boost pressure will just be let out and you should not read any boost. From what I could read your BOV is working fine at idle. But I'm not sure if you saw it right or not, but the BOV can not be open and the car making boost.

Your first issue if I'm reading it right you capped off the PCV valve and where it connects to the intake mani? You should not do that. You need these connected. The PCV valve is a factor to consider when doing a boost leak test, they do leak. But now you are causing a major leak by having that open with a filter.

The pcv stands for positive crankcase ventilation where your oil pan sits. Its not leaking oil and this is normal. A decent sealed catchcan works or any inline filter, but venting the air to atmosphere can cause maf inconsistencies. There is usually a line running to your bov, from the manifold. With a blt that line sees the same pressure on both side keeping the bov closed under vac the upper pressure is lower keeping the bov open to prevent your turbo from explodin with surge when you let off the gas or cruise at 65 and don't want to be in boost constantly.

Oil a plug can mean, bad hg, bad valve stem seals, or worn piston ring blowby. Or possibly bad spark plug seal and it got wet on removal

During a blt turbo seals ,piston rings and open valves can leak a small amount and its normal. The first two vent to the crankcase and out the valve cover hence the pcv so your block doesn't explode

ok so the bov is suppose to be open at idle?? didn't know that, but at cruise and under boost its still open, and its leaking boost! i just got it cause my last bov did the same thing!

And as for the pcv... when you get a smim your pcv is deleted and people fun catch cans.. i haven't got my catch can yet! But when i do a boost leak test.. it leaks ALOT from those filters.. i set my engine at TDC and its leaks out the valve cover vents bad... i don't think its normal, what could be causing it to leak so much?

and i have dejon uicp w/ gm maf so theres hole left from me venting the valve cover!
and the one on the intake mani has been sealed and capped to prevent any leak!

One possibility is a worn turbo seal, the air will bypass into your oil system and get in your engine and leak out. Also I remember reading that to get a good BLT you want to be at 30 DEG ATDC. Mine worked fine at TDC though. If it leaks slow your in good shape.

Granted the seals will go before the block, I just like to add a dramatic re-enactment to the pcv valve like they do to criminals in America's Most Wanted.
