oil feed....

my t-25 blew on my 2G, and ive been noticing places that sell oil lines that "send oil from the head" but when i took my turbo off, the only oil running to it was from the oil filter housing...should there have been a line running from the head? or is that only on a 1G?

Its normal. 2gs have their oil feed coming from the oil filter housing, and 1gs get it from an oil galley in the head.

Some people with picky turbos go from the head because its slightly lower oil pressure, but if you are going with a 14b/16g/t28 style turbo, get the stainless steel oil feed line coming from the oil filter housing.
