Well, I just bought this car a few weeks ago and recently had a pretty bad oil leak. I found my oil leak yesterday to be the steel-braided oil feed line to the turbo. I havn't dealt much with turbos but the oil is coming out of the fitting were the steel-braided line goes into the fitting. So I just want to make sure this is just a perminent fitting or if theres a way i can fix this? I would guess that I'm just going to have to buy a new one but I want to make sure i get the right one. I have a 1996 talon and it has a big 16g turbo. Also if you know were i can get the best deal and be able to get it kind of quick, i need my car as soon as possible. Thanks.

I went to DSMotorsport and see which line I need now. I pretty sure the one on there goes to the filter and not the head but I'm going to go double check that. Only thing is that its $52 plus $10 shipping and thats the slow shipping. Anyone know anywhere better? I'm going to keep looking but if anyone happens to know a better place let me know. Thanks

Are you sure it's not the copper crush washers? They are one-time use, as they literally crush to make a seal. You can buy them from the dealer for about $1. Just loosen the banjo bolt and put one washer on either side. Then reinstall it. But don't retighten the banjo too much or it'll shear in half.

No, its actually coming from the braided line. Like if were you see the braided line go up into the fitting, its coming out of the crack around the line and braided line and the solid part. If i get the 24"inch -4AN Stainless Steel Oil Feed Line w/ 90 Degree End from slowboy racing will that work? Its much less expensive. Also happen to know anywhere in the Indiana area were there would be one because the faster it gets to me the better even if i have to pay alittle more.

Just from my experience I wouldnt' worry about slow shipping from DSMmotorsports, I always get my stuff within the most 3 days. Are you feeding the turbo from the head or the filter housing? If it's the head there is a possibility that the threads on the head themselves might be stripped.

It's being fed from the filter housing but its leaking at the turbo. I only thought about getting it from Slowboy racing because its like $20-30 less exspensive. I'm not sure how long it would take to get here if I use them but I'm going to call both places tomarrow to see what they think, I was hoping to buy it today but it was already to late for them to send it today so I figure I'll just do it tomarrow morning.

Your going to have to e-mail DSMotorsports, but they will get right back to you. They don't have telephone support. I would go with them though. They are reliable.
