I got oil into my waterline but i wasn't getting any water into my oil, so of course i ripped the turbo off and think i came to the conclusiont that my oil cooler was leaking. i talked to some people and they have never heard of one leaking i'm sure that this is my problem but if anyone know of another idea other than a bad turbo or head gasket let me know!

i have experianced a bad oil cooler. It will cause the oil to mix in your coolent. The oil cooler has more pressure on it becouse it is comming directly from the oil pump and the coolant is lower pressure, thus forcing oil into the coolant.if you have changed your oil recently you may have accidently crushed the delicate oil channles.they DO go bad and cost 278.00 from the dealer.

Go to an external unit. I just did.

You will still need to purchase the gasket, -8AN lines and connectors and the external oil cooler itself. I did all of it for $260, about the cost of a new factory oil cooler, and an extrenal system is better for the car.
