hi i got 97 eclipse gsx 1992 6 bolt motor with a Ross/Eagle bottom end and HKS 272 cams with 680cc injectors, big 16g, Walboro 255lph fuel pump and that my car the problem is this

car has oil consumption problem
the engine light is on for the idle and oxygen senor

its 150 across all cylinders when doing a compression check.

before i do any thing can i get some opinions in what the problem is
thank you

i would say after daily driving but i pay attention to that and see when it burns the most

Okay. It's tough to tell from that. Especially since we don't know how you "daily drive." Plus we need to know how much is actually burning. You have a few things that could be wrong listed above.

As for your other problem, can you list the actual engine codes you are getting?

sorry i let you how its burns but for engine check light the codes are P0505 and P0135

Might be a simple oil leak. Pull your top timing cover and check for oil on the cam gears. Oil on the inside of the gears usually indicate cam seals. Oil on the outside usually point to oil pump seal or front case seal. With 150 compression I doubt if it's the rings. Could be a bad turbo seal. Pop your UICP off and see it it's coated with oil.

so oil is leaking more when i hit the boost and if i driving it normal like quart for 500 miles it leaks

Is there actually oil on the bottom of the engine or is it clean. a quart every 500 miles is a lot of oil.

How much oil? Could be bad turbo seals, rings not sealing, valves not closing to name a few things.

Leaky valves won't cause the car to burn oil, it will cause low compression but there is no way for the engine to burn oil because of it.

Off topic, the car has the same exterior body work & paint scheme of "Fast & The Furious, Tokyo Drift" Han's RX7. Just passing by....

Great observation. Unfortunately, I don't see how this has anything to do with the OP's issue, nor does it have any bearing on the topic at hand.

You can always pull your exhaust mani. and inspect for signs of oil.If there is oil present, then you may have some faulty valve stem seals. Also, always check your turbo for shaft play.
A faulty PCV / or poorly setup catch can system cause can cause blow-by/oil to burn.

Lots of things to check. UV dye can also aid in searching for external oil leaks.

Good luck brother.

P0505..... IAC valve system fault
P0135..... Upstream heated O2 sensor heater circuit fault (bank 1)

Neither codes point to your oil consumption issue

No, Comment.

Not once in this thread did I see if the OP is actually "burning" oil, or if he is "leaking" oil...unless I just missed it.

Is there any smoke (especially blue or blue/white), or oil on the engine somewhere? Puddles under the car?

You didn't miss it, I thought the same thing. I think the OP just needs to give us more info on what is happening.

I meant, faulty valve stem seals.

the truth is that i am planning to buy this car i haven't seen it yet and the reason i am asking if its worth it and if its not not some thing big to deal with. The owner of the car said (car does have an oil consumption problem and beleve is that it needs new valve seals), anything can be fix but i just to understand what i dealing with and you guys help me get a good idea so thank you and one more thing what you guys thing of the mods on it

This a black 97 eclipse gsx with gray leather interior a 5 speed transmission. The car has 135000 miles on it but the engine has less than 40000. The engine is a 1992 6 bolt motor with a Ross/Eagle bottom end and HKS 272 cams with 680cc injecters. The turbocharger is a big 16g with less than 10000 miles on it, also has greddy tubo timer and boost controller, front and rear strut bars, 3" turbo back exhaust, Apexi SAFC, Walboro 255lph fuel pump, Triple guage pillar pod, Act 2600 clutch, AMS front mount intercooler, and much more.
