420A Oil Change?

I had a quick question... yesterday, i did my oil change at 3000 miles @ 131,000 mi... the guy at pennzoil told me he put 30w oil ..... is 30w okay for my car, its a 1995 n/t rs eclipse.. also, i noticed that my belt was making a screeching noise when i accelerate.... i put some wd-40 and it was gone... thanks in advanced.

Stay away from Penzoil.
What do you mean he put in "30w". Factory recommends 10w30 for most climates. You can use 5w30 if it is really cold or you can go a little heavier for high mileage engines. Personally I use 10w40 because I burn a lot of oil.
