oh my ###...ive been drivin for 4 days..so go easy on my when i bestow this information on you...and yes im a 93 talon tsi AWD stick.....I LOST TO A PROBE WITH A COOL AIR INTAKE! my launches are horribly ###..and my turbolag is massive so i think that accounts for some of it...then we races from a rolling start and i destroyed him.(this tookplace at a track) i have an HKS air intake and i want to make it cold and i was wondering if the little air slits behind the headlights is enough cool air to make it cool air..if not theres a freezing cold spot down under my lights that i want to stick a cone in...ughh im so disappointed in myself though..i know ive been driving for like 5 days so i try not to get myself too down about it but its stilla probe..he has catback and cool air intake and thats it...all i have is warmair intake and a strutbar ....i just startin modding and they came w/ the car.. i should really say that my launch was messed up cuz i almost launched early..then i let off and THEN it turned green and i was only at like 3000 when i launched so that killed me...i mean i eventually pulled on the guy but still it was ugly...i want to get a FMIC and my turboback soon..because i noticed sometimes my acceleration is poor sometimes...because my RPM's are low so yeah..its ### sometimes but after i get exhaust i dont think anyone will stand up to me because i wont have shit for turbolag..im getting the Apexi N1 turboback and the Downpipe...but if i get the downpipe do i need an 02 sensor housing? and when should i get an exhaust mani?????? HELP

If you've only been driving for 4 days, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Driving skills don't just magically appear once you get your license. Give yourself some time to learn your car.

Give yourself an equal amount of time to learn how to form a sentence, too.

warm air intake..haha. the best advice would read the tuning guide at the top of the page. id say forget the frontmount for now. think about fuel mods, clutch, boost controller and gauge, free mods, and maintenance items first. then go big!

You may have a pre-turbo exhaust leak or boost leak if the turbo is really lagging that bad.

If it was a 1G Probe it may have been a 2.2L turbo, which can make good power with a little modification so don't feel too bad.
