I have a '91 galant vr-4. I just finished building the motor, and now i need to get a front mount in it. The problem with galants are they have a frame rail that keeps you from running a large intercooler. I have heard of guys taking the front frame rail out, but I can't imagine this is very safe. Do you guys have any insight on what i should do.

can u relocate the frame rail? slide it back maybe so that way you dont have to lose it completely? if its possible id say do that, thatd require alot of modification though, with alot of metal work...

I have no problem with a little welding, and fabricating so i will consider that, thanks. I was just wondering what other vr4 owners have done to make a large intercooler work.
