Ok.... this is very newbieish.... 1000000000 % actually , but im lookin for blowin
fuses in my car and i cant tell if they are blowin or not.

My qustion is this: how do i tell if a fuse is blown...ex (alt fuse in passenger side fuse box)

If you take the fuse out it should be kinda clear, it may have a color on it but you should be able to see a small piece of wire in the middle, it the wire is intact then it is ok. If it is broken in the middle it is blown. Hope this helps,

well most automobile fuses are transparent. You can see the conductive wire thingy inside it just by looking at it. But I've also seen a fuse that looked perfectly fine, yet it was bad, like it blew right at one of the very ends. So to make sure it is good, just hook up a multimeter to it and do an ohm check. If you're unsure on what an ohm check is, then go get yourself a multimeter and it should have some instructions and read away!

theres a little connecting wire in the there, u can see if u hold it up to the light, if thers a break in it, its blown, if not its good
