Alright, so I got the car running today (finally) after putting a 6 bolt into an unknown shell (wasn't running when I bought it). I also have a MAF translator hard wired into the ECU. So the engine runs.....

However, I have no dash lights, no power to the constant 12v on the radio, and when I check the solder join at the pink wire of the MAF translator/pin 12 of the ECU, it's only getting minimal power (1-3 volts instead of 12). Anyone ever run into a similar problem? I've checked every fuse and they're all good, except the maxi fuse in the engine bay for the window switch (30A).

I currently don't have the alternator plugged in - could that be (somehow??) affecting this? (Doesn't make sense to me that it would..)

Well.. umm... thanks? One question I do have is whether anyone knows if the power is an output from or input to the ECU. Obviously if it's an output, it's an ECU issue.

I forget what the fuel is labeled, but there is a fuse that controls your dash as well as your tail lights. Can you verify that your tail lights work?
