Odd drivetrain noise. Center diff?

Searched, thought I found it, but I didnt. Anyway, I was driving the car, and after I shifted into second, I start getting this clunking noise from the drivetrain. The frequency of the clunks depends on the car's speed. When I accelerate, it almost goes away, but when I decelerate with the clutch engaged, it gets louder. While moving with the clutch disengaged, it finds a happy medium. I think my center diff is going bad, but could the noise be from that, or is this a new problem?

could be cv joints...find a parking lot and go turn circles and listen for clicking.
