Half the mods you listed (Intake, fuel rail, header) would be useless if you ever boosted the car and you'll see minimal or zero gains from them anyways without megasquirt. TB, catback and injectors are all something that will help you out more once boosted, but don't have to be done first. (I ran for a year on the stock catback while boosted without much issue aside from some higher egts at the top of third) I did however notice a power gain, a decrease in spool time, and lower egts with the 3" exhaust afterwards.

Take that thousand dollars, get a 3" tsudo catback off ebay and put the rest towards a turbo. You will make a LOT more power for only a few hundred dollars more.

12:1 FMU $50-$100
Walbo 255lph HP pump $50-$100
Exhaust manifold $200
Used Turbo $300 (or less)
Ebay FMIC kit $300
BOV $100 max
Wastegate $100-$200
Downpipe $200-$300
WBO2 $200
Boost gauge $20
Gauge pod for the 2, $20

You can find deals and put together a turbo kit for $1000, you can do a decent setup for $1500-$2000 w/o question

pointless waste of money man... listen to him... Don't upgrade an N/A unless it involves boost. This is not a civic...

yes this is true but i have no desire to turbo this car id like only motor upgrades

if your not interesting in boost(which is bolt on as are the other things you just stated you want) you should just get the cold air intake, headers, and exhuast. It should be much less than 1k.

I agree... those are the classic N/A upgrades. There isn't much more you can do while staying N/A, except for maybe a UDP, without getting into some pretty advanced and expensive stuff.

so what everyone says the obx intake and tb will make know differance in performance at least a noticable one thanks for the info okay so i found a turbo kit on ebay for 850.00 sorry i know nothing about turbos thats why i really dont want one so if there is some one again to supply input maybe you can sway me that way

Yeah, the volume on the OBX is somewhere around 4.0 liters. To put that in perspective, the turbo intake I want to make is right around 2.7. Just way to much volume for NA.

The fuel rail would just be for bling factor and the injectors should stay stock for any NA application.

Now, as for the TB, you may want to go with a 55mm (ported out stocker). It adds a little pop (not a lot but a little). Then if you want the bling factor, you can take off the upper plenum, clean it up and paint it (or the whole intake if you want). You can then pull the rail and clean that up and paint it also.

Those things, along with a cleaned up/painted valve cover, an intake (ram or CAI) and a header can do a lot to "pretty up" the engine bay.

Here I editted in a pic of a 99 I'm selling;

A little paint goes a long way to cleaning her up.

search here and on 2gnt.com in the turbo section. After some research you'll want to turbo your car and you'll be excited about piecing together your own kit out of quality parts based upon what you've learned. If you're too lazy to search than you're not actually into cars and modding is a fad, stick with the n/a bling factor crap (no offense to MB meant). I had always wanted to boost my car without knowing too much, within 6 months of finding 2gnt I boosted the car by myself. Good luck

just so your aware, modern perfomance makes a very nice 60mm. tb,,,,,viper:hellyeah:
