Hey everyone,
I have a 1g engine in a 2g gs spyder shell. I just got a new o2 sensor housing because the o2 sensor housing I had before didn't have an o2 sensor in it. It was blocked off somehow. So now I need to know how to connect the o2 sensor to a wiring harness because I don't see anything near the o2 sensor housing that looks like a wire for the o2 sensor. Can someone please help me with where the o2 sensor gets wired to and also where the wire comes from, cause I really don't know what to do. Thanks a lot

The o2 sensor plug is around the thermostat housing above the transmission. It's a black square plug.

the wires that are built into the o2 sensor run up and over the exhaust manifold by flexible metal pieces on the heat shield that hold the wires down and to near the thermostat housing. there is a protective fiberglass shield around all the wires to prevent them from getting damaged by heat. if you don't have a heat shield then you will want to keep that wire away from the exhaust.

Ok so I will run them around my exhsut manifold. Does anyone know of a good o2 sensor to buy. Bosch any good? Also where does the o2 sensor plug into after you have ran it around the exhaust manifold?
