was doing my o2 sensor and all the threads inside are stripped.

im borrowing a stock o2 housing from a friend. how hard is the existing one to get off? some of those bolts seem really hard to get to and there deffinetly in there very tightly.

HARDDDD!

Best way to do it if you can't do it with a sock. or airgun is drill the bolt out... (or try vice grips)

In my case it looks like someone took my car into a lake so alot of my parts were rusted (including all the bolts on my o2 housing) so my o2 sensor is dead as well. IM looking at getting the evo lll housing so im in good shape but thoese bolts are a pain....

Dude i just had the same problem with my O2 housing... I was replacing the the sensor and all the threads got stripped :( so I bought a new EVO housing from dsmparts.com I haven got it yet but it looks a lot better that the stock one 20% more air flow but anyway yeah man those bolts are a pain in the A$$! I used a little propane torch to get 2 or mine off worked like a charm...let me know what happens:thumb:

Ya, my o2 sensor was stuck in my o2 housing, I had to buy a o2 sensor and housing for my 16g install
