O-trim stage 4 turbine wheel in a p-trim stage 5 bullseye turbine housing

Ok guys don't flame me for asking this question, I am not a newbie to the DSM game. This will be my first garrett turbo. I just bought a garrett turbo with the o-trim stage 4 turbine wheel, I already have a bullseye housing thats mated for the P-trim stage 5 turbine wheel. My question is am i able to use this housing or will I have to buy a new one? Also what are the effects of using a larger turbine housing? Thanks guys

The p-trim wheel is larger than the o-trim wheel so you cannot have the turbine housing cut to fit the o-trim wheel. You need a new housing.

Effects of larger turbine housing: more lag, better VE. Thus, more hosepower per psi of boost (good for pumpgas) and a less streetable setup.

Which compressor do you have?

I have to measure it , but I believe it's either a 57 trim or 60 trim, honestly I'm real new to the garrett thing. So basically buy the O- trim stage 4 turbine housing?

Yea. Or either by a bep otrim turbine housing. They have a .55 a/r unit and t3 inlet .70 a/r unit. And if you have either of those compressor wheels, I would go no bigger than the .63 a/r housing if you going to go with a garret housing. You will be wasting spool speed.

yeah i think i'm going with the bep housing. i know the turbo came off a nissan deisel cabover truck . so icant wait to see the difference between garretts and mhi units
