Come pre-gapped. Very loose also. Even I were to go with factory PTW clearances I would still have an excessive ring end gap. Top rings are at .023 and second rings are at .030. Far too loose for my liking. I think I have to order some 85.75mm NPR rings or 86mm Hastings rings and file them. I have assembled more than a few engines and usually go loose if they are going to be pushed hard. But I have never heard of or used a .030 second gap. Do you think I can run it without excessive blowby?:hmm:

The setup is 2g NPR pistons on 1G rods with a .0025 PTW. The reason I went loose is the car will see 30psi and 8000RPM on meth and my ported E316G untill I get my new turbo. It won't be a daily, but I'd like to split mileage between my cars, so it may see 10k a year. So overly excessive blow-by can't really be a factor. I will fill in my profile in a bit.
