Hey guys
How everyone doing tonight. Well this is my lil story. i have decided to take the head off my motor as i have it out of the car. and i thought i had bent vavles but i dont so i took the head off to check but i dont care cause i wanted to replace the headgasket and bolts anyways.
Now i have been searching for a while now. and everyone has said to get arp head studs. which i totally agree i did get them when i had my supra and they were great.

I went to dsm parts to see how much the head studs were and there is different things there. the is head conrads. theres also main studs. now i imagine the main studs are prolly for the rods. or im i wrong.

I have also noticed after searching that the best way to go is with the stock headgasket. not is the stock headgasket the same from autozone or disocunt. because autozone is charging me 75 dollars for a headgasket set including head gasket. and i imagine its fel pro. Is it going to be the same mls as the one from mitsubishi?

another thing is my head is not warped or anything. there isnt anyhting wrong. is it absolutly neccesary to take it to a machine shop or can i remove prior gasket as well as gettign a wirebrush and cleaning everything out completly.

If you guys can help me out answering these questions i would greatly appreciate it. i would actually be able to drive my car asap. Im tired of using my chevrolegs. walkin is a bi*** in this hot temperature.
Thanks
Alex

You can probably get the head inspected for not too much money. It's definitely worth it... if it needs work, they'll do it, and you'll be at ease knowing you didn't put it back on there with problems.
The only place you can get Mitsu parts is from the Dealership. No Autozone will carry them.
Head Studs are what you're looking for.

Get a Mitsu upper gasket set, all the others tend to have junk head gaskets. And take your head to a machine shop and have them do a valve job and resurface the head at the very least. Call Summit Racing for the head studs, pn ARP-207-4201 Good luck.
