Wanted to say hi the peeps here at DSMtuners.com. I recently purchased a 98 GST Spyder and a friend of mine told me this is the place to go.

My GST as 174k miles on it with a new motor in it. Everything is bone stock minus the exhaust tip and short shifter. When purchased it had every option included and I'm sure I'll be changing most of them as soon as I can. Photos can be found here:

Don't forget the strut bar! haha

Anyways welcome to the good life. Hope you have a nice garage (you will understand that as time goes on).

But yeah good find because these are hard to find without being hacked up or all modded. You got a nice clean stock DSM. Leave it stock or if you mod it PLEASE don't half A$$ anything, Goodluck.

P.S. You may be tempted to remove the recirculation hose on the Blow off valve, DON'T.

Welcome! That's a clean Spyder you got there! Congrats on the find.

Welcome! one word of advice, I see you live in cali and plan on swapping thing out. Keep everything you change, because if you ever get ask to pop your hood, your gona be glad that you have everything you need to go back to stock.... I am trying to collect everything my car does not have =/

Clean spyder and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome! I actually had a 1968 VW bug that I replaced everything mechanically on minus the shell of the car on my own... But it sounds like people are telling me to NOT mod it! LOL... Not what I was expecting!

I'm really only going to do minor things to the car:
Sound system for obvious reasons, gotta put some thump in the trunk.
Wheels for sure
Lights (LED or Xenon)
I was thinking about putting a new Turbo in the car for a bit extra boost but I don't know much about them.

That's really it. I love how clean the car is and I was thinking to keep it that way. It may get fresh paint and a new front bumper since it's a bit abused from being an SF car... Both of the previous owners really took care of the car and I'm excited to have it.

Once again thanks for the welcome!
