non turbo tranny

Anyone running a non turbo tranny? can these hold any power at all?

from what I understand the 1g non turbo transmissions are are weaker, but can be used in a pinch and bolt right up. stock turbo power levels probably wouldnt kill it right away unless you race it everywhere.

The N/T trans holds power pretty well as long as your not power shifting, but you will need the non turbo flywheel. The turbo flywheel will not fit the bellhousing of the nonturbo trans.

verify the drive train with the number of bolts on the block. 6 and 7 bolts are undoubtly different. but the AWD flywheel a titch smaller than the FWD making it a problem

Any 4g63 fwd trans will work doesn't matter if it is 6 or 7 bolt engine you just need the flywheel from the N/T engine but being a 1994 if it is the stock engine it has a 7 bolt flywheel so you will need a 7 bolt N/T flywheel. Make sure you cheak how many bolts hold the flywheel to the crank just to make sure, and the awd, fwd turbo , and fwd N/T all have different flywheels so make sure you get the right one.
