1g Non Turbo Tranny

Auto or Manual? If you're talking auto, the N/T tranny is the F4A22 and the turbo is the F4A33. The two can be interchangeable but you're going to need more than just the tranny to make it work. You'll need the flex plate, the piece that the shift cable attaches to on the tranny, new shift cables, and you may need to make some tranny mounts. I bought a turbo tranny and rather than go through all the trouble to make it work, I ended up putting in a JDM tranny out of a Galant. If you're talking manuals, then I don't know for sure but I would imagine that they are different.
 
the turbo tranny is larger if this is a manual were talking about. it also has a larger diameter clutch, which i believe strengthens holding power.
