My car is non turbo and I was wondering if I should convert or just buy a turbo motor? Why or Why not?

sell the non turbo if you want a turbo and by a new car, too much effort and it wont get you where you want to be very fast so if you like working on cars ALOT go ahead and i would by the turbo engine and turbo kit and all the other supporting mods you will need or buy a new car.

Your better off selling yours and buying a GSX or GST which ever you prefer. Its too much of a hassle, waste of time...My suggestion is to look at the classifieds here at DSM Tuners. Your bound to find sumthing for sure.

Everyones right. It will cost you close to ballpark 1200-1500 to add on a turbo. Not to mention changing out all kinds of sensors and the complete engine harness and new ECU. Way to time consuming if its your only daily driver. Just ordering all the parts would take of 3/4 of that $$ ballpark figure not to mention someones labor $$. There are quite a few mid priced FWD Tsi's for around 1000-1500 which will already have what your wanting which is the turbo. Just bone that Nt and you will have a few basic extra spare parts for your Turbo DSM. :talon:
