Hello all!
I was working on getting a standalone ECU put into my car / installing BC coils. Took it for a drive after it had been sitting for about a month when I heard this ticking noise, I know its not the motor because it doesn't tick while its parked (at idle). If I'm rolling down a hill in neutral or if it is in gear it makes the noise. I got the front end off the ground, started to shake the tire to make sure it wasn't a wheel bearing or lug nut issue (checked that they were torqued). Now I'm left with CV joints / axles or something in the transmission I think, spinning the wheels while off the ground emulates the ticking noise, it doesn't seem to matter whether I'm spinning the drivers side or passengers side wheel when it makes the noise. Here's a video of what I'm hearing
Could it be the input shaft bearing had gone out?
