My brother has a 1991 Turbo FWD and it will not start, it has no spark but gets fuel. We have tested the Coil and tried another they were both fine but still no spark, we checked all fuses and connections an they are fine. We tested the PTU under the coil pack and even put it in another car an it worked fine so we are at a loss. I really dont want to pull out the ECU if i dont have to, the wires and plugs are brand new and it has 1/2 a tank of gas. The car just started to stall one day and when we moved the connector to the PTU it would start after a few minutes, but we cant trace where the wiring for the PTU connector goes to becuase it goes into a wire loom with the coilpacks wire and up to the fuel rail loom. Im thinking it could be some capacitors inthe ECU or the actual Connector on the PTU it self. The Connector and the wiring to the PTU look finebut maybe corroded any ideas?? Thanks
The mods on the car are:
Dejon tool UIC and Intake pipe
660cc Injectors
Dejon Dual stage MBC
Test Pipe
AFC2 (tuned)
EVO III Exhaust Mani
Walbro 190lph
PS. I Did a search and tested all i came up with looking and still no spark
Any Ideas Are Appreciated
