I dont get this...I replaced my coil packs cause they tested bad with an ohm-meter...the car was also running wierd at anything but idle...While I was there I replaced the fuel pressure regulator as well since it was sucking fuel through its vac port, figured it was bad..
Anyway got a new Coil pack an power transistor from extreme psi..replaced all my injector seals and rings while i was at it...andnow The damn thing doesnt want to start...it cranks and every 3-4 seconds kinda puffs like its gonna get to starting..but then it doesnt..
Ive checked and rechecked the firing order, the wires are in good shape checked them with multimeter, the plugs are new and gapped to spec. I pulled all 4 plugs out, they are soaked in fuel, so i check that they all spark by cranking it while the plugs are in the wires, and they all spark...all the fuel injector connectors were put on correctly as I marked them...and they wouldnt reach any other way...
the cars a 95 gsx, with a 6bolt swap done by the last owner...I have no way of contacting him either, so i cant really verify if he did something wierd with the wiring...
im at my wits end here...
Only thing that comes to mind is when i ordered the coil packs i chose the 91-94 one and also same for the PT....I was under the assumption that as long as the connector is the rounded triangle one that it would work...could this be a cause? would the wiring differ from the 91-94 and 95+ coil so that it would fire in a different order? I thought that all years had the same firing order??
anyway...
any help would be greatly appreciated...
