No-start, doesnt crank after alt fuse blows.

The alt fuse got really hot and melted my fuse box some. Replaced the fuse and started getting battery drain. Apparently it turned out to be the screws that hold the fuse in werent tightened and a little loose, Tightened those up and drove it a day, parked the car and tried to start it and it didnt crank or anything. Everything works fine (radio, power locks and such) but no crank. I switched the screws in the alternator with the screws in the fusible link (the yellow fuse next to it) and it drove until I turned it off and tried to start it and it didnt crank.

The yellow fuse looks fine and the alternator fuse was just replaced. Have it at a auto electric place atm but he wont get to it till next week so I wanted to try something else to get it running till he can get to it but im out of ideas.

Once again I got it running by just switching the screws from the alternator fuse to the yellow fuse (cranked right up) because im using 2 generic autozone screws to hold them 1 of the fuses in. But when I turned it off and turned it off again it stalled and didnt crank after that no matter what I did. The auto electric place says I have no shorts and the battery/alt test fine. (there both about 6 months old).
