Montreal,
Hey, whats up? I have a 1990 TSi AWD. I rebuilt the cylinder head during the winter, replaced the ACT 2600 with a new one, added an HKS EVC and some other stuff I can't remember... Anyway. I went to start when everything was finished and there is no spark. I tried diagnosing this problem and the fallowing is what I have done so far:

Removed the MSD box and put wiring back to stock. Checked wiring to ignition coil. Black and white constant 12v wire to ignition coils is getting proper voltage when key is on. Both coils are properly grounded, Tried replacing ignition coils with ones working off another Talon (still no spark), Replaced ignition module with a known working unit off another Talon (still no spark), SAFC reads RPM when engine turns over (regular tach does not appear move), Y/G and Y/B ECU to ignition module wires getting intermittent signal when engine turns (I suspect these are the signals to send through the ignition module and trigger the coils to fire.), Ignition module is properly grounded, replaced the CAS with another known working unit just to be sure, hooked the datalogger and when cranking everything seems to be reading normally.

So after everything I know the CAS, ECU, ignition coils, ignition module are all working properly. Anyway. Still no spark. Anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks a lot.

did you prime the oil pump when you put the timing belt back on?
No oil pressure, and the ECU will not turn on injectors or spark...

I did do that. I forgot to put the valve cover on and got some oil on my cieling. But thanks for the info as I did not know DSMs did that.
