No Spark

i Have a 91 eagle talon it started and ran for months went outside to start it the out day and it had no spark it has the 4g63 in it and its a n/t someone please help i have been told it could be a coil pack but im not sure if thats what it is cause with dsms i know multiple things could be wrong anywhere from cam angle sensor to crank sensor idk please someone help me i need the car its the only one i have.

could be the coil pack, power transistor or even ecu. You should check things one at a time. Dont try to just buy and throw parts at it. Are you getting fuel to the injectors? Do you have a CEL? Give us as much info as you can so we can help better.

i think the ecu is fine cause a friend told me i would smell a fish smell near it if the capacitors leaked or if its burnt but i don't think its getting power to the ecu im not to sure but it cranks and theres no symptoms of timing probs the coil isn't that old the kid that i got the car from got it new from advance auto and i think it put the old power transistor on it im not to sure though all i need its to get it to start so i can drive it around thank you

update just found out that there was no injector pulse at all still haven't gotten it to start

Swap in a good cas. Check your fusible links. You need to pull the ecu out and open it and stick your nose next to the circuit board to be able to smell the funky fish smell.

yeah the ecu doesn't smell like fish and nothing looks bad ecu wise the ecu is getting power but not getting an injector pulse

Sounds like your cas might have died. Unbolt it and spin it (with the key in RUN position). The injectors should fire.

so try to start the car with the cas out

no turn the key to the run position like one click with the cas off spin the littel knob and see if your injectors fire

It will tell you if your cas is bad.

yeah i definately think that the cas is bad still no pulse does anyone have a use one i can buy

yeah i swapped the cas and it still don't start i don't even get a check engine light i even tryed pop starting it and the tach didn't even jump up

what does the check engine light look like is it the square with the lines in it? and lights up yellow? cause if thats it then its on but my tach don't jump when its cranking and it cranks real slow when the motor is cranking

yeah i don't have a check engine light and i deff don't have and injector pulse or spark and the tach don't jump i think its the wiring in the car though

changed the ecu and the car started up but it starts up hard when cold and the idle jumps for like 5 10 mins someone help please
